We believe in employing physicians who are Board Certified and who have been trained in the United States.

Henderson Office Location

Jeremy Lipshutz, M.D. - Dr. Lipshutz came to the Las Vegas area two years ago after finishing his Fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Michigan. Prior to that he also finished his residency in Anesthesiology at Wayne State University in Michigan and Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. Dr. Lipshutz completed his undergraduate work at Grinnell College and his Medical Degree at Wayne State University. Dr. Lipshutz also received a Master’s in Health Services at The John Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health. Dr. Lipshutz is Board Certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management from the American Board of Anesthesiology. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Lipshutz enjoys Improvisational Comedy and being with his wife and three sons.

Roland Sparling, M.D. - Dr. Sparling has been a physician in the Las Vegas area since 1995 practicing Family Medicine in the Henderson area. He is a graduate of the University of Nevada for both his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Medicine Degree. His internship and residency was completed in Pennsylvania. Dr Sparling is a Member of Who’s Who in America and a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Sparling spends time with his children enjoying the Nevada area.

Dr. Carmelo Rillera, M.D. - Dr. Carmelo Rillera has been practicing medicine in Las Vegas for over 10 years. After receiving his B.S. in Biology from the University of the Philippines, he continued is education at the University of the East Medical Center, completing his M.D. in 1980. After his internship in the Philippines, he moved to Chicago serving residency at both the Ravenswood Hospital Medical Center and Cook County Hospital.
Dr. Rillera is Board Certified in both Family Medicine and Urgent Care, and has research experience at both the Novum Pharmaceutical Research and Clinical Research Consortium here in Las Vegas.

Victoria Guerra, M.D. - Dr. Guerra came to Las Vegas after practicing dermatology for 2 years in Texas. At that time, she was a clinical assistant professor at the Texas A&M University Health Science Center. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in biomedical science at Texas A&M University. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. She underwent post-graduate training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in internal medicine and dermatology, and is board certified in both. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Guerra enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with family and friends.

Lake Mead Office Location

Miguel Vargas-Lagunas, M.D. - Dr. Vargas came to the Las Vegas area from Texas in 2007. He practices at our North Vegas office – Clinica del Medica. Dr. Vargas was born in Mexico City, Mexico and trained at the University of Nacional Automona de Mexico where he received his Doctor of Medicine Degree in 1986. He completed his residency at Thomason Hospital in El Paso, Texas. He is Board eligible in Internal Medicine and will be completing his certification this year. Dr. Vargas and his entire staff are bilingual. He is married with two daughters.

Victoria Guerra, M.D. - Dr. Guerra came to Las Vegas after practicing dermatology for 2 years in Texas. At that time, she was a clinical assistant professor at the Texas A&M University Health Science Center. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in biomedical science at Texas A&M University. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. She underwent post-graduate training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in internal medicine and dermatology, and is board certified in both. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Guerra enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with family and friends.

North Las Vegas Office Location

Mark W. Witt, D.O. - Dr. Witt is a Board Certified Family Physician and is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended elementary school in northern California and completed high school in Sacramento, California. He completed undergraduate degrees in 1983 with B.S degrees in Cellular Biology and Petroleum Geology at the University of Tulsa. Dr. Witt worked as a petroleum geologist from 1983- 1986 in California and Oklahoma before attending medical school at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Witt received his medical degree in 1990 and completed postgraduate training in Family Medicine at Tulsa Regional Medical Center in Tulsa Oklahoma.  He initially practiced as a family physician near Dallas, Texas and with an orthopedic surgical group in Bedford, Texas before moving back to Las Vegas. Dr. Witt has been licensed to practice medicine in Nevada since 1993. Dr. Witt has provided family practice, urgent care and occupational medicine services to patients in Las Vegas since 1993. He is associated with Centennial Hills Hospital and provides physician services at the wound care center at Desert Springs Hospital.Dr. Witt lives in northwest Las Vegas near Floyd Lamb Park. He has been an active father raising two daughters. His children Jackie and Sarah are currently students at University of Nevada Las Vegas.  Dr. Witt shares many of his interests and hobbies with his family which include photography, music, travel and outdoor activities including hiking, biking and snowboarding. Dr. Witt joined Canyon Gate Medical Group in 2009 and will be working at the practice located at 3960 West Craig Road, Suite 101 Las Vegas Nevada. Dr. Witt will continue to focus on providing quality primary care medicine to families living in Las Vegas at this location.

Victor J. Bonuel, M.D. - Dr. Bonuel has been a physician in the Las Vegas area since 1994 after completing his residency at Woodhull Hospital, Brooklyn, New York in 1993. He completed his education at the Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines where he received his undergraduate degree and his Doctor of Medicine Degree. He is Board Certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine. His wife is also an Internist and they have the luxury of consulting each other regarding difficult medical cases. In his spare time, he loves playing golf with his buddies or play the piano.

Parhump Office Location

Dr. Edward M. Harding, M.D. - Board Certified in Family Medicine in 2001, Dr Harding came to Las Vegas in 2005 practicing at the Freemont Medical Center before coming to Canyon Gate Medical Group in 2011. Dr. Harding completed his education in Pennsylvania, graduating Cum Laude from Albright College, Jefferson Medical College, and Warren Hospital Residency Program where he was the CO-Chief Resident. Dr. Harding has been published in both the AAMC’s Academic Medicine and the Academic Journal, as well as having experience as the Geriatric Team Leader at Western Medical Group. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Harding loves Golf, Travel, and Poker.

Dr. Michael Reiner, M.D. -Michael Reiner, MD graduated from the University of Texas, Austin in 1979 with a Bachelors in Pre Med.  He went from there to The University of Texas in Houston where he obtained his Medical Degree. Dr. Reiner did his internship and residency in Denver Colorado at Presbyterian-St Luke’s Medical Center. Originally from the  United Kingdom, Dr. Reiner lives with his wife and family in the Pahrump, NV area. 
Dr. Reiner has practiced in Nevada since the 1999 and prior to that,  he practiced in Colorado and Texas. 
With a specialty in Internal Medicine, Dr. Reiner sees adult patients of all ages and is on staff at the Desert View Regional Hospital in Pahrump.

Summerlin Office Location

Eric D. Moskow, M.D. - Dr. Moskow is recognized as an innovative leader in the efficient operation of medical practices. He formed Coral Gate Medical Group, a medical practice in Broward County, Florida, in January 2002 and has operated as its Managing Partner since inception. Coral Gate is the core medical practice that became part of OBDS in 2006. From February 2000 through January 2002, Dr. Moskow served as Executive Vice President of Cybear, an information technology company serving the health care industry. From September 1996 to January 2000, Dr. Moskow was Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning for Phymatrix, a publicly-traded multi-specialty medical provider network. During his tenure with ICSL, Dr. Moskow led the effort to acquire 400 medical providers in 60 centers located throughout the 5 boroughs of New York City. From 1989 to 1997, Dr. Moskow served as an Internist and President of Family Medical Associates in Ridgefield, Connecticut. In addition, from 1988 to 1992, Dr. Moskow served as Associate Medical Director in Connecticut for U.S. Healthcare, a leading HMO. Dr. Moskow is board-certified in internal medicine. He received his B.S. degree from Vassar College in 1980 and his M.D. degree from New York Medical College in 1984.

Amy R. Sparks, M.D. – Dr. Sparks relocated to Las Vegas in 2000 after graduating from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completing her residency in Family Practice at the University of Kansas Medical Center. In 2002, Dr. Sparks formed Sparks Family Medicine to support the traditional primary care she was familiar with from her training in Kansas. Dr. Sparks has been actively involved in her community hospital, serving various roles for SummerlinHospitalMedicalCenter, including Chairman of the Education Committee, Vice Chair of Family Practice, Secretary/Treasurer of the Medical Executive Committee and Vice Chief of Staff. In 2005 and 2006, Dr. Sparks completed her two-year term as Chief of Staff of Summerlin Hospital; she currently is a physician member of the Board of Governors for SummerlinHospital. Several publications have recognized Dr. Sparks’ service to the community, including being named “Family Practice Top Doctor” in 2006 and “Family Practice Nurses’ Choice” in 2007 by Las Vegas Life Magazine and being voted “Top Doctor” in Summerlin Magazine’s 2005 issue. Dr. Sparks is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.

Judith P. Ford, M.D. - Dr. Ford is a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician who has been practicing medicine for over 12 years. Dr. Ford graduated cum laude from Boston College and received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Ford completed her residency at the Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She has also served as a clinical instructor of Medicine at the Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Ford has been practicing medicine in Las Vegas for the past 6 years. Dr. Ford enjoys yoga and spending time with her husband and two young daughters.

Sunrise Office Location

William A. Flignor, M.D. - Dr. Flignor is relocating from FL to Las Vegas to work with Canyon Gate Medical Group. His specialties are Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiology. He completed Medical School at the Ohio State University College of Medicine and his residency at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He received his Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease in 1981 and Internal Medicine in 1987.

Nicole R. Flora, M.D. - Dr. Flora completed her undergraduate studies at Ohio State University in 1991. Attending the medical school at Ohio State University College of Medicine, she received her M.D. status in 1996. Dr. Flora then completed her residency in Family Medicine at Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Kentucky in 1999. For the past 7 years, Dr. Flora performed as a primary care physician for Southern Ohio Health Services Network, as well as a volunteer physician with HealthSource of Ohio. Dr. Flora was also the Medical Director of the Cincinnati Institute of Age Management in Cincinnati, Ohio before relocating to the Las Vegas area. Dr. Flora is certified with the American Board of Family Practice; Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation and the Foundation for Care Management; and Age Management, just to name a few. As a Volunteer Instructor at the University of Cincinnati, Department of Family Medicine, Dr. Flora donated many hours of teaching. Other affiliations include Trihealth Hospitals in Cincinnati, OH, the American Academy of Family Physicians, Key Political Contact Program and the U.S. Congress Physicians’ Advisory Board, Honorary Chairman State of Ohio. Memberships currently held by Dr. Flora include: the AMA, AAFP, OAFP, Cincinnati Academy of Medicine, OSMA, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, Age Management Medical Group and the Endocrine Society.
